Blessings all! I am committing --once again--- to creating more, writing more, blogging more and being more.

hello peoples... just checking in to say that I still live and blogging is still not my priority as is EVIDENT in my long spans of time between posts...

oh about the title.. I told a fellow blogger to check out this site, so I didn't want to appear EXTRA trifling... and not have a recent post up...

life's still good...still doing radio in the paradise known as The Bahamas... still mothering my now TEN year old boy... note to self---change profile info! LOL!

Looks like we made it... yes it's a Barry Manilow song, but the sentiment is fitting when I look back at 2008. Highs and lows...check. Disappointing moments...check, check. Summoning every bit of positivity in the face of events, people and things which seem to devastate you... check, check, check. Nonetheless, let's be proud. We made it! We persevered and realized that all is working in divine order. And that's the key here... all things are working together for a purpose. So we say THANK YOU 2008 for the joy n pain (Frankie Beverley n Maze), for the simple things (India Aire), for the lessons. Here's to talking to you more often in 09... hey...hope springs eternal. So once again... a toast to all the love, joy, peace and prosperity you can stand! Be blessed...

Brace yourself... she blogs

OK, it's really official. I gatta be the most trifling blogger out there. From Jan to now... c'mon ...
So here's what's been on my mind. A long time ago my sister said to me that even if I were to win the rat race, I would still be a rat!!!! HELLO! So I think that this rat is makin' a move to Exuma. It's a 365 chain of islands and cays in the paradise of The Bahamas. Now I know that acrylic nails and fabulousness don't go well with organic farming, but I am going to change that stereotype. Why can't I saunter in the fields, grow my grub and commune with nature?
Of course, I need to do this with my plasma screen TV and satellite hook up in da bush. Wake up at dawn; in bed by dusk; eating fresh fish outta the Great Exuma waters; my beloved son growing up running free; no traffic; a pump in da yard... oh Lord...
but first...lemme enjoy this weekend and be back in the studio on Monday...
